    homemade shakes

I was wondering if anyone had any home made shakes or food combos they would like to share.

    Protein Shake:
    1 cup cottage cheese
    30 grams whey protein (vanilla)
    1-2 cups milk
    1 splash vanilla extract

Blend the hell out of it. Taste pretty good. I was thinking of adding oats.

    What do ya think?
I used to take it before I went to bed, but I stopped because of the carbs (sugar) in milk.

    when i need calories:

    2 scoops whey
    12 oz skim milk/2% milk/soy milk
    2 tbsp pb
    1 banana

gets kinda think but its delish!

Farmer, doesn't taking whey directly with L-glut diminish the effects of the glut? This is what a friend told me, he says it is better to take them 20 mins apart.

You know Hood makes low-carb milk now? Sometimes it's hard to find, and it's more expensive than regular milk, but if you can get a hold of it, you could reincorporate this shake into your diet. They make low-carb chocolate milk too...I heat it up so it's just like hot chocolate.

I have heard that too, it battles with the glutamine peptides in the whey..

Heres a really tastey pro/fat combo

2 scoops chocolate whey (isolate would be preference cuz of 0 carbs)
    3 tbs. natty peanut butter
1 tbs. fat/sugar free choc. syrup (optional)
Blend with ice for a chocolate/peanut butter smoothy
On a cheat day add some vanilla icecream for a really good treat.

    Here is my breakfast shake

    125mg egg whites (12.5g)
    100mg firm cottage cheese (18.5g)
32mg prolab raspberry whey powder (22g)
1 teaspoon of sugar free raspberry jam
200mg skim milk (more or less depending how thick you like your shake)

It's absolutely delicious, has a great consistency (like a real milkshake), and gives ya at least 53g of good protein (without counting the milk).

    I love this stuff!
