meals in the morning..workout also in the morning

i have a question here guys..i see that lean protein and veg is consumed before workout in the 'how to cut' thead by rambo..and i supposed the workout in that thread is an evening workout..so wat if i have a morning workout? is it ok to have a carb, pro meal(replace glycogen) for breakfast(pre workout)?? by consuming a pro, fiber meal..does it mean that while workiing out, u get energy from fats, which in turn burns fat? i'm in a dilemma as to whether i should replace my glycogen stores upon awaking..or jus have a fat and pro meal, since after this first meal i'll be working out??

I would say if your workout consisted of weight training then some protein and simple carbs before your workout isn't bad. I don't believe it will be "stored" as fat.

I think you're going to get some very different answers for this question. I think replenishing glycogen before a workout can be a good thing, because you'll have more energy to lift with intensity and you'll burn off those carbs in the meantime, so they shouldn't be stored unless you're eating excess amounts. But I know a lot of people are all about the protein/fat meals after cardio and only eating carbs pwo...so you should just do what you think makes the most sense.

hmm...currently,i only have 2 morning workouts and 3 evening ones..on hose 3 evening workouts,i consumed my carbs for breakfast, pwo and pwo meal..and do the same for the morning ones..i think if i dun take in carbs for my morning workout..i cant able to train intensely..and my carbs for breakfast isn't too high ..just 70g of oats..
