Mercury/Tuna
How legit of a threat is mercury poisoning if you eat a lot of tuna? I've been eating at least one big can of tuna almost every day for a year now and I'm fine. Anybody not so fortunate?

Are you a pregnant woman? If not, most of the mercury scares are just media hype. You have a better chance of being eaten by a shark while getting struck by lightning.

Haha no... not today at least I'm not.
I was just curious, I figured it was media hype.

I usually eat about 2 6oz cans of tuna a day and I have suffered no ill effects, yet. I agree with the others. . .media hype.

It's not tuna in general, it's albacore tuna that's high in mercury. And even then it's only certain brands that tend to have high levels of mercury.
