what do you think..... when dieting and you start w/ a set amount of cho/pro/fat & calories... as the weeks go by and you check you BF% / Lbwt, should you shift you pro/cho/fat intake for your new BF% / Lbwt??? ..or just leave it where you started. I would just leave it for 12 weeks and not adjust... but I'm thinking I should.... any thoughts? :unsure:
well as your body loses fat it is going to take less calories to continue that fat loss...though im in no way a believer that all calories are created equal, fat loss is directly related to caloric deficit (be it from diet deficit or from doing cardio and lifting). therefore as you continue to lose fat i would adjust your macros in order to create the same caloric deficit you had before to facilitate continued fat loss at the pace you were losing. then, when you reach your goal start to eat a maintenance diet. this is totally my opinion, but i have been slowly reducing calories as the fat continues to drop and i have no problems with energy, lifting or satiety.
