Most healthy nuts (almonds, walnuts etc...) have dietary fiber, so you don't count the carbs as full carbs in that case. But don't overdo it with the nuts, they have a lot of calories. What I usually do, is take half a serving of walnuts (100 calories) and half a serving of almonds (85 calories) and then have a protein shake (110 calories) for one of my smaller meals during the day, so that way it feels more like a snack. Don't use nuts as a main meal because if you eat too many you are talking some serious calories.

agreed on that...almonds have 6 carbs with 4 fiber...walnuts have 4 carbs and 2 fiber....i use a half serving or full serving with meals just for some healthy fats and to have something else to chew on so i dont keep drinking oils all day. Nuts are definitely a welcome addition to my diet, keep me fuller.

Don't the oils in nuts cause acne? Also, I've heard that you're supposed to remove that little knob thingy between the halves of peanuts. My dad says they contain all the toxins. Is this true?
