Unsure how much i should consume pro/dex after workout when on cutting cycle
Hey, when i was bulking my 2 PWO meals consisted of a 45 g Protein and 125 g dex shake and a solid meal with the same ratio of macronutrients as the shake. Now i'm thinking there would be no point in consuming that much carbs pwo and ppwo since i'm not lifting the same way as i am while on a cutting phase. Should i half the amount of carbs in both meals or should i keep it the same? Also, is it ideal to have 1 pro/carb meal everday when cutting?(was thinking about 3/4 cup of oats)

Will,
I see you have posted all kinds of these questions here in many diff. threads looking for bits and pieces of info to piece together a "plan". I know you were on my SUP2 program, and all I can tell you is this. (well, u should have continued with me in cutting, as that is crucial after SUP2, but that's another story)
Your amounts PWO don't change.....cutting the dextrose in half is NOT what you do. Again, u are not on SGX, but the LIFTING ON SGX is just as imperative as it is on SUP2.......the message we are sending our muscles is still the SAME MESSAGE, that never changes!
I know you are not on my SGX program, but if you were you'd see that does not change. Cardio, all other meals, (and the macro ratios), and supplements are what change.
Bummer you could not continue w/me! Good luck......

Yeah it is a bummer, but i feel as if i'm taking the easy way out paying someone to make me a custom diet and training routine instead of researching and experimenting on my own. Thanks for being there for me on SUP2.

Nothing is wrong with experimenting to find out what works for you, but first you need a starting point and a plan of attack in order to get to where you want to go. The money you will shell out to Swole is hardly anything when considering what you'll get in return. From there you could experiment and further perfect the diet to you liking. It will save you much frustration in the long-run.

I applaud your efforts for wanting to learn on your own, that is great!
I just felt it to be a bummer as you had done so well on SUP2, and learned about that, that you may not have thought about doin' SGX, which is a lightning fast cutter.
Press on bro, thanks for runnin' SUP2.

Mr. X is great at this. Have you checked out any of his worksheets?
He has several posts on his board-it is very easy too follow.

Yeah, that's my buddy (Mr. X).
Maybe his CKD manual or something else would work.
I believe Will was wanting to get away from a CKD though, and for good reason.......
