    loosing weight fast!!!!

im trying to loose weight very quickly. Im at 205 and would love to be down to 180 especially since its starting to get warm here in chicago and the bike is calling my name. I was thinking of doing a eca stack but i dont know how much each to take. Also what kinda diet? I heard that sprints are better then a steady jog. any advice will help. also, what other suplements. Im just really trying to get my self in better shape and my workout now seems to not be helping.

Best thing for pure fat loss is first thing in the AM on an empty stomach for 45-60 minutes at 75-80% of your max heartrate. Go to http://anabolicreview.com/vbulletin/...ad.php?t=75729 and construct a diet for yourself. After you put it together we will critique it for you.

I think it's funny that you mentioned ECA first, and then diet almost as an afterthought. It should be the other way around. What does your diet look like now? I can make some suggestions based on that.

i hope you are joking.....ECA wont do $hit if you dont diet properly...supplements are just that...supplemental to a good diet. if you cant even just watch what you eat and cut out junk no drug legal or otherwise will help.

aww you've got it easy then. This is my suggestion: don't go balls out and totally reconstruct your diet based on the "how to cut" thread on here..not just yet anyway. Slowly work your way toward that. For now, just cut out the junk (like beer, soda if you drink it, fried food, fast food, etc.) and make an effort to make some better choices and control your portion sizes. That combined with increased physical activity of any sort should be enough for you to lose some weight. As your progress slows, then you can start making more changes to your diet. But right now, I think you should keep some tricks up your sleeve.

i will agree with this because this is exactly what i did three years ago to lose some weight. if you feel that you cant hardcore diet cold turkey then this is the way to go. if you do feel that you want to go balls out however then definintely check out the how to cut sticky thread...either way that has some good info.

i can easily cut out the crap as much as will hate cutting beer out of my diet. You got to understand in chicago beer is the only way to meet girls around here cause they also all need a diet plan But i can do a "hardcore" diet. and im young, im only 19 i should be able to drop the lbs quickly. But in that cutting thread it seems as if that is really set up for someone on a cycle. I probably am wrong but like i said i just wanna get down from 205 to 180 as quick as possible, and i dont drink any pop nor do i sit and eat mcdonalds all day. any other advice would be appreciated.

well it's good to know that you dont drink soda or eat $hit. you dont have to cut beer out totally, but definitely reserve it for a once a week cheat night. try to limit consumption somewhat on that particular night as well. also losing 25lbs is not something that can be done very quickly. i recently lost 12 lbs of nearly all pure fat and it took about 13 weeks.

also, that diet above is definitely NOT made for cycling....a hardcore cycle diet allows for very very very low calories and uses the roids to keep the muscle on (not so healthy, but it works) i personally consume around 2100 and 2200 calories a day with adequate macros to facilitate muscle repair and maintenance and i still get stronger as the weeks go on.

Well, at least cut out the beer during the week. If you want to drink one or even two nights on the weekend, that's fine. You'll be much more successful meeting girls without a beer belly ( although you're right, a lot of girls have them too so they have no right to judge). Also, are you weight training or just doing cardio? I think it would be beneficial for you to do both if you can.

I hate to say it but a low carb atkins style diet will take the weight off faster than any other diet. You should still do cardio though. I find it very hard to stick to atkins so I usually eat carbs up until about 2 pm (I go to bed around 11pm). my carb sources are usually veggies, some fruit, oatmeal, brown rice, and maybe a yam or potato...Stay away from sugars, flour etc...

so how much weight do you loose while cutting off the carbs at a certain point???? And will it be that hard to loose it so quickly? Like i said im 19 and my metabolism should be moving quickly right. Also are there any sure ways to up the metabolism?
Back to atkins for a second. Did it lost 10 lbs first week kept it off. Dont see any physical loss, only in the numbers. Should i do it again and reamain hungry?

You were hungry on the adkins diet???

    that sounds weird...

There are better routines that will do the same thing and not rip the calcium from your body....

    see the diet section..

there are routines that will rip the fat, and build muscle..

    good luck....

ill have to check that out, and i was a little hungry. Its that feeling of never being full i guess. I really hate that atkins cause i have to cut milk out totally. Im thinking of switching to some soy but would rather not. I appreciate everyones input! this has to be the cooooolest message board i have ever been apart of. all good people.

P.S. about having a nice car job and good looking,,,,,, It dont matter. I have a great job and make extremely good money for 19 years old. I just bought a brand new acura 3.2type s and i always have a money on me. But dont worry my buddy who still has a skate board and no job and about 50lbs of metal hanging from his face has a g/f.

If you don't like atkins, don't do it. If you can't stick to something, there's no point doing it.The weight may come off fast but that's because you lose a lot of water weight in the beginning. You could also lose some water weight and fat by just lowering your carbs, rather than cutting them out completely.
As for milk...most people will tell you to cut it out regardless of the diet you're doing...personally I don't think it's as bad as people think, especially since you're coming from doing nothing diet-wise and don't really need to be meticulous yet. I will tell you that switching to soy milk is not going to do you any good. The quality of soy protein isn't as good, it still has the same amount of carbs and other macros as regular milk, and there's the possibility that soy raises estrogen levels and could hinder the positive effects of testosterone (this is not proven, but why take the chance?). If you do drink milk, make it skim or at least 1%...or try the new low-carb stuff.

There is nothing wrong about going to the bar and drinking a water or a diet coke. Myself and countless members on this board have done it.

Just a suggestion, go to the gym, you'll meet a lot more cute girls there. Plus, they will all be into working out and not just some "sloppy bar whore" who will nail anything with a dick. RR

good points. I have been think, would it be so bad to just up the protein and as far as my carbs, eat veggis. It was real ****ty when all i was eating was spinich and some other things. Would it be so bad to have some chicken breast with sauteed red peppers and onions or have some asparagas? I can cut the beer cut the breads and pastas but i really want to eat vegitables. Like you said, from **** diet to better right. With just cutting out the pastas bread and beer and good cardio/weight training workout i should be able to acheive the goals i want right?

You should see some results with those changes...and vegetables are definitely not an issue. The more the merrier. Especially the fibrous ones you're talking about. Starchy vegetables like peas, corn, and carrots aren't quite as good.

there are no magic pills. Taking the advice of people on this board will be more than enough to make you lose weight. Eating small, frequent meals, drinking lots of water and exercising will all keep your metabolism going throughout the day...and much more so than any supplement would.

the only two supplements i would absolutely recommend would be whey protein for PWO shakes or in between meal protein and flax oil for the healthiest fat known to man. other than that you can achieve many of your goals just by dieting and exercising..trust me i know, i went from buying 200 bux worth of supplements a month to about 50 and im seeing better results now than i was back then.

    That's 3 meals a day...........

Not good enough bro.......You need far more energy than that.

Running for 20 mins is not going to do much, seeing that you don't burn fat until the 15-20 min mark anyhow when doing cardio that promotes lipolysis, which unfortunately joggin/running do not. (anaerobic activity, not aerobic activity)

Lose the orange/nana with the fat/protein meal as well.

Flax slows digestion and is a healthy fat, doesn't really fill you up.
