Just want to check that I have this right.
PWO meal: 40g whey protein, 40g dextrose and 40g maltodextrin.
1 hour - 1 & ½ hour later: meal with protein (eg chicken breast) and carb (eg. Brown rice) and veggies.
Also, where do I get maltodextrin? A health food store?
sounds ok to me... Maltodextrin is available online or at whole food stores.
i think 80 grams might be a bit much tho.. i would go with 60.. but as everthing here it depends on how big you are..
ye..and what ur goals are too..
right now I'm in a bulking cycle. For PWO meal I've always had protein and fruit.

Are there any substitues for Dextrose?

maltodex may not be as important as dextrose, also some online bulk food stores offer dextrose for cheap prices or an online brewery offer it for less. i also saw a post that PWO shake should be .8g carbs per KG of bodyweight and i have been using this so far with good results. keep in mind KG is pounds divided by 2.2
looks good to me. i personally prefer to have a protein/ 50g dex with a bottle of gatorade. ive cut out the malto and made up for it in my PPWO.
