sour cream
hey fellas i started cutting down for the summer and i was wonderng what you think of fat free sour cream? i love sour cream and i just put some fat freee sourcream in with my hot sauce and eggs and loved it! sounds weird but you have to be creative after eating eggs for so long...there was only 2.5 gm fat per 2 tbl spoons and 2 gm of carbs too.

Make sure it's sugar free, or very low sugar. If so, you should be good to go. Assuming it's sugar free it'll probably be packed with sodium. If you don't care, then by all means use it.

How is it fat free yet has 2.5 gm's of fat in it??
Like rambo said, get the one with the LEAST carbs/sugar....Thats often full fat...
Looking online, the brand daisy has a non-fat sourcream with 1 carb just like full fat so if you want to, go non-fat there. Other brands, friendship dairy or breakstone's or generic brand have lik 4-5 g's of sugar...Stay away from that.

i go with reduced fat....cuz that has the 2.5g fat and only 2g carbs...not bad at all, and i just use the serving size whenever i feel the need to have some.

I'd use the full fat version. To make up for the absence of fat, they add sugar (carbs).
I don't see the point there..........
besides, fat free sour cream isn't SOUR CREAM! It's white plastic crap........

I use the reduced-fat sour cream...i usually only use 1 tbs. so the amount of added sugars is minimal. But now that I just did a comparison, 1 tbs. of full-fat sour cream is only 10 calories and 1g fat more than the reduced-fat... so I may as well just use that.
