    ok one more question

    when changing my diet...and what not.... i know lifting weights and cardio are both imprtant... but should i focus on one more over the other? losing weight is my main goal right now.

    Hmmmm they all go hand in hand. But I'd say this....show as much dedication to each area. Get your diet in check and than get your workouts and cardio in check and you'll be all set.

    well im focusing on losing fat and i do cardio 6-7 days a week in the morning and lift 3-4 days a week. i lift heavy with low reps and do cardio for 45 minutes at a moderate pace.

    They are both a crucial part of changing your body FOREVER. That is the approach fitness should have. Too many times "diets" carry a connotation of being temporary, to reach said goals, then what? Balloon back and lose everything? No, it's better off being adopted as a lifestyle, not a temporary "fix" to a situation.
