    Wine/daily

    So my friend says to me that wine is the healthiest thing that you can put in your body. So where else to go for this but the board.

    Whats your opinion?

    I just recently quit drinking any form of alcohol. Must say I've felt a helluva lot better since then.

    Alcohol is healthy in small doses, 1-2 servings daily; the cardiovascular benefits are substantial.

    Studies have shown though that the type of alcoholic beverage doesn't matter....wine, beer or shots, you get the same benefit.

    Red wine by the glass on occassion is fine. Gettin' piss drunk w/the fellaz day in and day out is something else.

    agreed.....when your body is saturated with alocohol and it cant absorb anymore into the blood stream it stores it as pure fat....and you get saturated with as little as 3-4 drinks per hour depending on size.
