Hmmmm they all go hand in hand. But I'd say as much dedication to each area. Get your diet in check and than get your workouts and cardio in check and you'll be all set.

well im focusing on losing fat and i do cardio 6-7 days a week in the morning and lift 3-4 days a week. i lift heavy with low reps and do cardio for 45 minutes at a moderate pace.

They are both a crucial part of changing your body FOREVER. That is the approach fitness should have. Too many times "diets" carry a connotation of being temporary, to reach said goals, then what? Balloon back and lose everything? No, it's better off being adopted as a lifestyle, not a temporary "fix" to a situation.
