    My Diet ..check it out

    Hey Guys when i hit roid will i want to change anything...or should i change anything as of now...
    I am 20, 245 18 % BF

    1st meal 7am middle of the night whey milk and gainer
    2nd bagel with peanut butter, whey milk and gainer
    WORKOUT
    3rd whey milk and gainer and tuna sandy with one can tuna
    4th potatoes or brown rice with either chicken or eggs with veggies
    5th can tuna with bagel
    6th can of tuna with bagel
    7th can of tuna with bagel
    cals are 4000 prot is 320

    VITs are 2-3 multis 1000 vit C 1000 ui E
    4L of water
    *thats my diet from monday to fri when i workout...sat and sun are a little more lazy since im not working out...should i keep the same thing everyday?
    on sat and sunday i get in about 2500-3000 cals 230g prot.

    What do you plan to accomplish with this diet? Are you trying to bulk or do you wanna get a bit leaner? You seem to be eating a lot of Bagels. Don't take this the wrong way but unless your whey milk and gainer are over 100gms of protein/serving you are not going to reach your 400gms protein/day. Each can of tuna is approx 30-35gms of protein.

    So with the chicken or eggs and that little bit of peanut butter you may have 200gms there. Your carbs are going to be high so you might want to alter that. And maybe pick some carbs that aren't so high on the GI scale.

    Do you work at the bagel bakery?

    Seriously, there are far better choices, but I'm not too sure what your goals are, so we'll wait to hear back from you for more info. Your post-workout meals need attention no matter what the goal, but we can get to that later.

    Since your obviosly trying to gain weight then go ahead and get the calories in. But if your goal is to lean up or clean bulk then I think you need to seriously take a look at your diet and clean it up. Shredz gave you some good advice above. Also read the sticky's at the top of the page.

    The bagels are multi-grain (i like them better then bread for making sandys..so my GI's are alright there..except with the gainer the GIs are a little unwanted...however its good after my workout where i want a spike in the blood sugar..

    i am looking for a quality bulk...i thought this was alright...lots of complex carbs from the multi...clean protein...(egg whites, chicken, tuna, shakes)

    my post workout meal is 50grams from suppliments 30 grams from tuna...i down a shake and have the tuna...im in school now so thats best i can do...in the summer when on roid i will be able to come home after the gym and eat all real food..so like eggs or chicken with potatoes..except ill still get 25 grams from the gainer right off the bat because i like the sugar right after a workout...

    i am really looking to clean bulk...i want to get good size of the cycle..and then naturally after...i think my diet is in check...

    if i should drop the bagels i will..ill do anything really..but i do like them..haha and they are multi grain...

    what does that mean? thats my diet as of now...but it will also be my diet when on roid...i dont understand that statement

    Your diet is more important than using gear. Make sure you have that in check before you cycle bro.

    Multi grain or not, if you over-do the amount of carbs you actually need for glycogen replinishment and/or energy purposes, you'll store fat. As long as you're not getting "fat" from eating these, and have a higher than normal metabolism, then fine. When you go to a cutting stage, well, u already know what I'm gonna say.

    daman1 the only reason why i am big is because of diet...i would say it is 75% of BB...if not mroe...that is what i take in now...i am trying to get everything in check...does it look ok to you?? thanks for the feedback man

    guru you look awesome in that pic i hope everything goes well for you and your career...thats actually good to hear i dont like having to eat that much...but i thought you had to eat that much "eat big to get big" steroids need 4000-7000 cals...thats just what my research shows...actually i think i have put on a little bit of fat from this diet...but i have put on tons of strength and muscle as well...what could i change...will i still keep on puttin muscle and strength with a reduced diet...i just thought that you needed a surplus inorder to but your body in an anabolic state and therefore the excess cals would turn into muscle and a bit of fat...thanks a lot man

    What about fruit and veg has everyone forgot about this these days, allot of diets I see are missing it and it is very important in a builking or cutting diet.

    And also don't forget to eat your crusts as they make your hair curley jk.

    ahhh yes...very well...i know i have been laggin on the fruits and vegs..i prob only get about 3 or 4 servings...ill bump that up to 6-7
