Unhappy bulked up/no roids need diet help!!!!

hey guys im in the military and i love this site to say first off. you guys are all very knowledgable and i appreciate your help. well here it goes....

i currenty weight 197lbs at 5'9. i know i have alot of fat but i can still see muscles under my fat when i flex so i dont think im really that fat. but i would serious like ot get cut up so i can finally see my abs and back etc...
i do chest on mondays legs and calves tuesday triceps and back on wednesdays biceps and lats on thursdays and traps and obliques on friday. i do abs every other day. i can tell if i lost weight i would look freakish but i gotta loose like alot to have my muscles show through. my current diet is i have a bowl of raisin bran and a yoplait yogurt for break fast and i eat a pair and drink water for snack b4 lunch and then i eat can of chili for lunch(fat free mostly) and some more water i take a protein shake b4 dinner and for dinner i usually eat some more chili and water and another shake. i found out though that the serving size for the yogurt has like 33 carbs the serving size for the protein is like 54 for each shake the milk is like 27 for each serving and the chili is like 20 per can. the raisin bran is about like 45 per cup. so im taking in a total of 220 carbs a day. could someone post me a complete diet cause im dying and i would really like to cut down seeing as gaining mass is pretty ez for me. thanks alot guys. PS trying to stay away from roids while im in. i also take a full range of vitamins and i mix fibroplax into my yogurt in the mornings. thanks alot

Hey bro.... I think you took what swole said the wrong way. He wasn't meaning to be sarcastic. He meant there is TONS of room to improve on your diet seeing as the foods you are eating now are basically junk. Swole gives tough love... he isn't trying to put ya down. Believe me if you want anyone to help you here and point you in the right direction it is him.

    Sarcasm? WTF???

I said you have lots of room to improve, and I listed the foods you listed in order to have you "see them again", because you must know those choices are far from ideal, correct?

I wasn't being sarcastic, but I can be, and when I am bet your (__!__) you'll know it.

    Best of luck!

hey sorry i guess i took it the wrong way. its just ive been working really hard at it since i came in the military. every attempt i have made has failed so far but i havent given up just getting angry i cant make it happen. do you have a suggestion for people who are on a budget seeing as i dont make that much money. and should i do the lean mass diet or the cutting cause someone told me the lean mass diet thats stickied cuts you up just as much if not more. thanks for the help and your honesty swole

Whatever you decide to do, stick with it for weeks on end so you can get an HONEST evaluation of yourself. This way you know what to change, and what not to change. Not sure who the "someone" is who told you the lean mass diet cuts you up more than the actual cutting diet (no need to disseminate that info), but if they are constructed the PROPER way, that's just not true. Perhaps it worked like that for this gentleman/lady, but that is not the "norm" at all, and if you wanna get cut, follow the cutting diet!

If you are dedicated, you'll still be able to progress while away at sea, although it may not be AS quick as you would if you had access to other resources/materials. No sense in not progressing though, do what you can. When you get back to land, it'll be like a tune-up/boost, and you can then incorporate all of those missing things for that extra "kick" to take it on home.

well i have modified my diet to now eating mostly just oatmeal powershakes alot of water and uuuughhh albacore tuna(i have a hard time swallowing that stuff). crazy thing is i have gained weight even though i look skinnier in the mirror. got burnt at beach cause im a bit whiter than i thought so had to take a couple days off the gym. found out my little trip i gotta take wont happen for a little bit so i should be able to make use of that time pretty well. thanks alot swole. o yea you said drink 1 gallon of distilled water for each 2 gallons of regular" water swolecat? i found out i hold alot of water and when i mean alot i mean a helluva lot so gonna try to regulate that as well.

There's a recipe subsection you can click and get tons of different recipes. I just mix tuna with mustard or take a handful of it and put it on my tongue and just gulp it down. Quick and easy. As far as the hardboiled eggs, sometimes I have 12 egg whites and 4 yolks as part of my first meal.
