    6' 2" 200lbs how many cals?

    im 20 years old i have good metalbolism and im an electrician so im pretty active

    im 6'2" and 200lbs
    17%bf how many calories should i take in to grow....ive gotten advice to eat around 4000calories a day to increase size....what do you guys think?

    If I were you, I would cut first and get the bf lower before you decide to bulk, because adding size means adding more fat as well, and you will look fat more than big. JMO though. If you want to figure out calorie needs, use the Harris Benedict formula. Do a search, there are many threads in here that will help you out.

    200lbs x 11 = 2200

    2200 x .75 (being very active) = 1650

    2200 + 1650 = 3850 calories (MBR)

    add 500 for bulking = 4350 calories
