Food Values, and adding up the cals. Help me out please!

Im trying to figure this food value thing out. Here is what i have so far.

    8:30am
    1 6 oz lean steak

    cals 272
    fat 13.8
    carbs 0
    prots 34.2

Fat cals. Ok in this we say, 13.8 X9 = 124.2 fat cals

    carbs.0

prots, we say 34.2 X 4= 136.8 cals from prots.

so if the 6 oz serving is already 272 cals per 6 oz. Do i add the total serving cals plus the cals from fats, and prots, and carbs and add them all up to get a total. Which in this case would be

    124.2
    +136.8
    +272
= 533 calories in the 6 oz of steak i consumed?

then with that steak i ate

    3 large eggs with yokes
    3 large egg whites.

    in this case it is

    "egg with yokes"
75 k cals per whole large egg = 225 cals
    fat is 5x3=15g x9 = 135 cals from fat
    carbs 0.6 "not enough"
prots is 6.2x3=18.6x4= 74.4 cals from prots

    "egg whites"
    16.7 cals X 3 = 50.1 cals per 3
    fat 0
    carbs 0
prots 3.5x3=10.5x4= 42 cals from prots

    so with all of this

    I have a total of

cals 1,059.5???? total between those 2 meals??

    prots 63.3 g

    fat 28.8g

    carbs 0

I have actually had another meal at 11:30 and both times had a protein shake.

So am i doing this right as far as adding my callories and such?

    Thanks

No, you do not add the total serving cals... fats/protiens/carbs is what makes up the total serving.

= 533 calories in the 6 oz of steak i consumed? HECK NO BRO, YOU EITHER GO BY WHAT THE CALORIES LISTED ARE, OR, IF YOU ARE ADDING THE GRAMS, YOU DO AS YOU DID ABOVE AND ADD THOSE. THE CALORIE COUNT LISTED IS THE RESULT OF ADDING UP ALL THE MACROS.

then with that steak i ate

    3 large eggs with yokes
    3 large egg whites.

SO, YOU HAD 3 WHOLE EGGS WHICH IS 18 GRAMS OF PROTEIN, AND 13.5 GRAMS OF FAT (APPROX OF 3 LARGE EGGS) THREE EGG WHITES IS 10.5 GRAMS OF PROTEIN, NO FAT.....

    in this case it is

    "egg with yokes"
75 k cals per whole large egg = 225 cals
    fat is 5x3=15g x9 = 135 cals from fat

    I have a total of

cals 1,059.5???? total between those 2 meals?? SEE ABOVE....

    prots 63.3 g

    fat 28.8g

    carbs 0

I have actually had another meal at 11:30 and both times had a protein shake.

So am i doing this right as far as adding my callories and such? NOPE.....HOPE THAT HELPS...

    Thanks

    Ok swole. i follow you.
So when it says 120 cals. per 4 oz, and i had say 8oz then that would be 240.
then just add up the grams of each fat, carb, and proteing gram, per each serving size.

I have an almenac on its way. I hoping that will explain in further detail.

Now i am bulking, and I am on a bulking cycle
so do I still want to keep it at
    35% prot
    45% carbs
    20%fat..?

if so It would be safe to say I need

    345g prots per day
    383g of carbs per day
    76g of fat per day

    ok something isnt right

    66+(13.7x102.511792 kilos (226lbs) +5x175.26-6.8x25 which equals 2176.3 cals

    Ok 2176.3 cals x 1.725 = 3754.11 cals needed per day? correct?

how do i figure the amounts up on this!?

ok I think ive got it

    35% of 3754 is 1313
1313 cals of prots coverts to, 1313/4=328g of prots

    45% of 3754 is 1689
1689 cals from carbs converts to 1689/4= 422.25g of carbs

    20% of 3754 is 750
750 cals from fat converts to 750/9= 83g of fats

    so my

35% prots is 328g per day

45% carbs is 422g per day

20% fats is 83g per day
and my total calorie intake is 3754?

DID I DO THIS RIGHT???? hell im kinda excited. thats seems like a lot of carbs though
