Post workout nutrition and waiting and hour for protein.
Well here is the thread that i am asking about:
Basically, it just says that a study shows that one should only have carbs post workout and then carb/proteins one hour after. If one is to have protein directly after the workout, only about 30% will be used and the rest will be lost or stored as bodyfat. I just wasnt sure if i drink a protein/carb shake right after a workout because i was told that or because it is right. What do you think?

Nope, don't buy into that. A PWO shake with a 2 to 1 ratio of simple carbs to whey isolate is invaluable in beginning repair. Not taking advantage of insulin elevation to shuttle in very simplistic forms of amino acids, would be highly unwise.
Realize also that this is exactly like the argument about dextrose pwo or not. Many feel you don't need any spike pwo, but even more say you do. I stick with what works for myself and those that I assist. When you do that, you can't go wrong.
So, screw the studies, they'll always be there for both sides. You have to find out where you fall. Go w/what the majority say, those are your best odds!

That being said I was wondering if someone could tell me where I could get dextrose powder from?

That should be a quote. I like it. You can have statistics showing you are right for anything if you use a lot of words and use names of people no one has heard of stating your theory is correct.
