    Please help critique this diet???

Alright guys, im still on my first attempt at a proper cutting cycle. Been on it since late jan. Goin good, but as I lose more weight and summer gets closer, I want to re-check how im going about things, so my fat burning doesnt slow down.

Im kind of questioning my fat and carb intake, so below is what an average daily food intake looks for me, and hopefully based on this information, hopefully you guys can give me some pointers to better improve it:

    Protein/fat/carbs

    AM CARDIO

    M1: 5 egg whites, 2whole eggs 37.5/10/1.2

M2: Large can of tuna 65/2.5/0

    M3: 2 scoops protein powder 55/19/12
    1 serving natty pb

    M4: 8oz ground sirloin or venison 46/12/0

    WORKOUT

    M5: 2scoops protein powder 46/3/48
    bottle of gatorade*
    (in process of gettin dextrose)

    M6: 2 chckn breasts 34/14/2
    (mesquite flavored)

    TOTAL pro/fat/carb -> 283/60.5/63.2

    Im 6'2.5, 205lbs

My main concerns, as stated above are my fat and carb amounts. What do you guys think of these? Also any tips on improving the diet are also greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Your carbs may be a little low. Until you get your hands on the dextrose though, I would substitute honey pwo. 3 1/2 table spoons should give you a little over 60g of simple carbs which are needed pwo. It is not quite as good at spiking insulin levels as Dextrose, but research shows that it may actually be better at restoring glycogen levels. Also for your second post workout meal I would add 1/2 cup of brown rice. I was a little weary of the carbs there at first too, but found my results improved and fat loss quickened when I got carbs in that meal (meal 6 for you). Doing this will up your carbs to about 100g and will help fight catabolism, as well as aid in glycogen restoration and maybe even assist your pooper a little bit with the fiber.

Thanks for advice. Dextrose should be in at the end of the week. I dont have any rice, but id assume i could just eat 1/2 cup of oats instead with meal 6??

Anyone else got some pointers on my diet??

    Thanks,

REPLYING IN CAPS. I THINK YOU NEED TO ADD A PRO/ COMPLEX CARB MEAL AFTER YOUR PWO NUTRITION (M5) AND BEFORE MEAL 6.

    Protein/fat/carbs

    AM CARDIO

    M1: 5 egg whites, 2whole eggs 37.5/10/1.2

I WOULD USE A WHEY AND SOME FLAX FOR A BETTER PWO MEAL AFTER CARDIO, THEN USE WHAT YOU ORIGINALLY HAD FOR MEAL 1 FOR MEAL 2.

M2: Large can of tuna 65/2.5/0

    YOU NEED SOME FATS HERE...

    M3: 2 scoops protein powder 55/19/12
    1 serving natty pb

MANY BETTER FAT SOURCES YOU COULD USE. I USUALLY USE SOME FORM OF NUTS IN THIS MEAL...

    M4: 8oz ground sirloin or venison 46/12/0

WHAT IS THE TIME SPAN BETWEEN THIS MEAL AND YOUR WORKOUT? IF IT IS LESS THAN 2 HOURS, I WOULD SCRAP THE MEAL AS YOUR BODY WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO DIGEST THE MEAL BY THE TIME YOU HIT THE WEIGHTS...

    WORKOUT

    M5: 2scoops protein powder 46/3/48
    bottle of gatorade*
    (in process of gettin dextrose)

    LOOKS GOOD...

    M6: 2 chckn breasts 34/14/2
    (mesquite flavored)

IF THIS IS YOUR LAST MEAL BEFORE BED, YOU NEED A BETTER SLOW BURNING PROTEIN AND YOU NEED TO ADD SOME SLOW BURNING FATS...

    TOTAL pro/fat/carb -> 283/60.5/63.2

    Im 6'2.5, 205lbs

My main concerns, as stated above are my fat and carb amounts. What do you guys think of these? Also any tips on improving the diet are also greatly appreciated.
