Needing some knowledge dropped on me

This is only my second post so please bare with me. I'm just curious as to how you experienced guys/gals found a reliable source and what made you trust them enough to give them a try. I'm not asking for source names, I'm willing to put the time and effort into finding myself a reliable source, just needing some knowledge to help.

Whats the difference between sources, labs, ugl, etc?
Just tryin to figure out what im in for, and how ill need to go about it once i get my regimen going

The way I found my source is somebody on here was talking about them in a post. Complaining they had been ripped off and named the source. Turned out the guy had not ordered from the correct website. It was a fake website made to look like the real one. You have to be very careful. So anyway the conversation went on for a while about this source and it was being openly named. A day or so later the thread was took down but I wrote down the source. Once I got enough posts for a source check I ran it by several vets to confirm it was good and it was. Just need to be sure to go to the correct website and not the fake. I ordered my gear and it all came.
Also I know a guy at the gym who has homemade gear.

Hey bro, if you have the knowledge, and resources homemade is the way to go. Im 39, been lifting since I was 17, and I've been using gear for about 6 years and making my own for about 3. I tried a ton of different UGLs out there and some of the shit was ok and some was fucking trash. None of it was worth 40, 50, or 60 bucks a vial. Just food for thought.
