Can't remember the guy's name, but he went to jail for murder. His defense was "roid madness" because he had been on large amounts of steroids for his sport. The defense didn't work, and he also got no roids once in jail.

But you may be able to smuggle it in somehow. In prison, Charles Manson started taking large amounts of estrogen so he would grow boobs. He became some guys prison bitch after that. Dig through 60 minutes interviews and you may find this interview.

Let me preface this by saying I HAVE NO IDEA!

But with just speculation and common sense I would say that if trt was allowed in prison, you would prob go see the doc and they would do it, doubtful you would keep it in your cell. Roids make their way into prison though. Honestly, I can't give any kind of informed answer sorry.

By pure medical perspective, one would think so. They'll certainly treat you for hypertension, diabetes etc. while in prison. However, I doubt the medical/penal establishment has accepted "Low-T" at a level where it would be considered a common treatment for inmates whom lack it. No offense, but I hope not. Penal system gets too much of our tax dollars already...

I heard Dave Palumbo say he was on TRT while in Federal prison on an episode of Heavy Muscle Radio, so it possible.

Imagine, if everyone who had low T in prison got treatment for it in there and got all there T-levels back on track, but now you have all those extra horny inmates. Now , knowing this and knowing you are about to be put in that prison for an offense that you did. somethings gonna give......you might as well change your name to Sharon cause you will be sharin a lot in there. just a really bad idea. IMO

NO but life happens and growing up every one of us (my childhood freinds) has done time whether in jail or prison. Shit happens and everybody on this board all prob did somthing that could send us away to prison at one time or another difference is between those who dont get caught and those that do. Knowing the answer to this vastly changes my thoughts of going on trt or anythinng non sastainable for that matter

bb pros that are on trt and get arrested would be ****ed. NO energy to workout, shrink up, basically become a women... not to good of characteristics for sombody that needs to be prepared for riots/fights on a daily basis. That should be a concern to anybody on trt or thinkning about it... its not like herion addicts that can detox and it all be done. messed up hormones are for life

WTF are you talking about? Thanks for the advice, but I doubt any of us here are going to an institution anytime soon. You see, most of us on TRT are law-abiding, average Joes. We pay our taxes, have a family, career & experience all the good things that life (with hard work) has to offer. Actually, we're above-average Joes considering the public at-large these days...

Dude are you really offended? I didnt catogorize anybody. Im asking for my own knowlege... there has been many athletes in all areas of sport to do time so I dont see how this offended you API.... And idk about you but most people I know didnt get on trt because they were "law abiding citizens."

actually i think they do the opposite..... not sure if its prison or jail but one or both puts estrogens and things to lower test levels in inmates and calm them down in their food.

Nice!! You just can't make this shit up....what if you go to prison? Really? No offense but did you ever wonder about...what if a meteor falls on your house and kills you, what will you do about TRT then? Or....What if you're in a car wreck and need surgury and the doc wont let you continue trt while recovering or what if you get cancer and cant continue trt? or what if your wife divorces you, takes everything and you cant afford it? I know I shouldn't be a smartass but your concerns aren't even close to being a legitimate concern no matter what perspective you view it from....it just doesn't make sense....at all.

No not offended, I just found yr last few posts amusing. The majority of people I know on TRT are in their Mid 30's, 40's & above. TRT is a vehicle in which to improve our lives. We're generally not doing anything that's going to land us in prison. Anyone flirting with prison at this age is a retard anyways & outside the majority of us on TRT IMO...

Dude this is not a redicules question. This is reality!! a meteor falling on your head?? come on dude. Im being serious. If i just had surgery maybe id be asking about trt post operation.. but im asking a reasonable question that i was wondering for myself. My friend punched a guy one time and the dude died...manslaugther...prison... REALITY OF THE UNEXPECTED!!!!! Maybe i live my life to where that is a risk but thats beyond the point. So get of your high horse " I do nothing wrong" attitude Steroids are illegal if you have sold them of ordered them you hae violated laws!!!! That is a risk for incarceration How is this not a valid topic?

you snatched the words right out of my mouth!

Brad, last Thursday when i gave/donated blood i was week and on my way home, been on the road half of the day and no food for 6 hours, tired as shit! this one ass-hole picked the wrong day to fvck with me, and you know what, i knew i could have kicked his ass even though i was tired, but simply rolled the window up and completely ignored him while he was screaming of the top of his lungs still. so you see its easy to avoid going to jail and also easy to go to jail, its your choice how yo handle the situation.

I understand his question hes being hypothetical, one could get framed easily for something, and you never know what could happen Maybe you had 3 drinks at a bar barely over the legal limit completely in control and a car hits you, but its still your fault in court for being drunk. Legit question, and that would b a risk of going on trt, a depression where you cant afford it and your worse off then before....i doubt you would continue trt in prison but having your test slipped out from underneath you, is a real possibility to think about before jumping on theirs alot that could happen......my b on the sloppy rambling

Thank you. And this wasnt a very "hypothetical" question atcully... i have been arrested. And if you are not on probation/parole i guess you just wouldnt understand that any little thing can send you back. I am getting blood work done and if I am still unstable and trt is an option these are things i want to consider. I dont need "Holyier than thou" telling me i need to make better choices. Again if you have used steroids without a script or sold steroids to a friend at the gym you are breaking laws so dont lecture me about not breaking the law. Forget it ill ask my question elswhere.

not all sir! we may have done something like speeding or hit a red light or something to that nature, but not enough to put us in prison even if we get caught. now that i thought more about your question, here is another question. if you are prescribed to be on TRT lets say by a doctor or clinic, wouldn't that be considered medication? and if the clinic or the doctor states that the person will become ill without medication, would that hold water?! of course the "medication" will have to be administered by a nurse.

TRT is allowed in some prisons/jails, this is mainly when someone is already being treated prior to them entering the system.

WOW....what if????? Brad , why exactly have you been around this board for the last 5 years? You coming off cycle and find yourself a little emotional ? Maybe a touch paranoid? Its obvious that you see no humor in how ridiculous your concern is to the average joe.....I mean really Brad are you going to stay in the emotional state that your in now because IF you get arrested someday you cant get T in prison.....REALLY!! Dude...I'm sorry if I offended your tender sensibilities, get some BW and go get the T bro.....I'm all for your well being I just thought the question was a little odd and BY GAWD it IS my right to have that opinion, sorry if you feel like I'm out to get you....I'm not. I would like to see you healthy and trt might well be the best thing you've ever done.

Is this supposed to be a joke. Consider TRT a privilage not a necessity, and the only privilage you will get while in prison is maybe TV. (Not spoken from experience, information leraned by watching MSNBC's locked up)
