is their a certain number you target yourselves at?

hey guys, i was wondering if you guys try to stay at a certain test and estrogen number you try and stay with. in the beginning on the gel my first blood test was at 863 and i felt great! a couple months later on a different gel i was at 442 :{ would switching to shots keep it constant?

most not all are overall happier with shots

about numbers for long term trt'er and overall well being its usually upper third quadrant of the reference range...kind of where u were at 863 and e2 is also indidual but MOST like 25-40...some might feel better when at a little narrower or broader but i have seen that 25-40 number being a good target for e2 and T 600-900 but again...

also, i've heard many posts where gel just stopped working like you are stating

Yeah most dont like gel due to either low levels or it stops working good as well as the unwanted exposure to others factor.

More (higher numbers) is not always better but it sound like in your case it might be but that may all change with injections,. I would try to start at a lower number though and slowly work up to see how you feel to minimize the chance of causing high E2 and complicating things more.

Why did you switch to a different gel? Why cant you switch back?

when it comes to number I only look at two, Free Test and E2, I feel best at keeping my Free within the upper range and my e2 between 25-30 on scale of 3-70 sensitive assay.

My e was getting high on androgel when i first using it. My feet were bothering me and my chest was getting puffy. So i took a break. Then when i got tested being off of it i was under 200 test. So he put me on axeiron and that got me up to 443. Still felt shitty on it and the dtthe sticky for blood testhe delivery system is stupid. The stuff drips everywhere. I switched back to androgel packets. I fear im getting to used to the gel. Im going to get a blood test this Thursday and use

The doc i go to is a cool and honest guy. He told me point blank to go to hisendo friend. I got a friend who knows more than the docs i go to and can get everything discussed about with shots but i dont know if i trust the stuff. Such a predicament. If i stop the gel i dont produce any T really.

Sigh wasted visit. Told me estrogen isn't important. And 800 is to high. And there is nothing to do for a testes shrinkage

At first I targeted a testosterone towards the upper end of the range, that didn't provide me with noticeable improvements, but it did give me some decent amount of aromatization.

I have since been targeting a trough level of 650. As for E2, I'm targeting about 20 on the Quest ultrasensitive assay.

And now you see why we always say AVOID endocrinologists. Unless you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the endo knows how to treat symptoms (quality of LIFE) and understands that men need to monitor E2, then avoid endocrinologists!

Endos are diabetes docs, and there are a lot of diabetes patients out there to keep them busy.
