    1 Month on TRT

I will be 33 y/o in July and have been TRT for about 1 month. I am feeling a lot better when it comes to mood swings/depression. Most of my back acne has cleared up...not sure how that happened, I always thought more Testosterone made acne worse? I have had lower back problems for about 10 years and it seems like almost all my back pain is gone! Has anyone else experienced long term pain go away? The past few weeks I have been sleeping like a rock! As far as strength goes in the gym I haven't noticed any strength gains yet. How long does that usually take to notice?

The protocol my doc has me on is 50mg Test Cyp 2x/Week and 250 IU HCG 2x/week. I noticed my boys were hurting a little and smaller a couple days after the HCG shot, should I ask to doc to up HCG to 250 IU 3x/Week?

test cyp takes 4 or 5 weeks for you to really notice an increase of strength in the gym. But at a dose of 100mg a week, if you do end up noticing any strength gains, it should be minor. It can take a couple of years to experience all the benefits of TRT. Improvements in bone density being one of the slower benefits, and improvements in libido being one of the quicker benefits.

    Good luck!

yes most of us noticed lingering back pains go away with TRT. like TR said strength will come later. did your doc mention anything to control your E2? your protocol seems to be a good start, but you can definitely tell him about the discomfort you're having with the testis.

Yes he said he would prescribe something for e2 if next blood work indicated I need it. I haven't noticed any sides that would indicate I needed it right now

sounds like you've made really good progress in a very short period of time. be happy for that. I saw no positives until months down the road! more benefits of trt are almost assuredly in your future...

    Hey CalicP

Man your story is just like mine. I'm 32 will be 33 in December. Currently I'm on HCG (MWF, Arimidex (.25 every other day) and DHEA... My doctor has now agreed to write me test BUT its the topical version that comes in the "Topi-Click". She wants me to do 2 clicks 2x daily. I hope my results are quick like yours! Man I need some relief! I too have the mood swing/ depression sort of thing. It has really helped? Also, my drive/libido sucks...have u had any progress in the dept?

Mostly the things I have noticed was what I stated above. I just feel the drive to do things more it seems. As far as sex drive I have noticed a slight change for the better. Hopefully things start working for you.

I will get my blood work done in a couple weeks and see where they stand and see if we need to make any adjustments
