Thyroids and other issues caused by TRT

    Hello,

I would like to ask experienced members (who are on TRT) few questions:

    1. Have you observed some thyroids change or issue (increse / decrease) caused by TRT? How often these problems are?

There are many sources suggesting that low LH may cause of low sensitivity to thyroids (ex: The interrelationships between thyroid dysfunction a... [Thyroid. 2004] - PubMed - NCBI) and also that low LH may cause low thyroids. Also there is some relationship between thyroid and testosterone levels .

    2. Becouse of hypothyroidism can be the cause of secondary hypogonadism is there some evidence of people curing hypogonadism by curing hypothyroid issue? Does that work that way?

    3. Can be by some way possible to keep levels of LH and FSH high or midrange while one is on testosterone therapy ?

    4. What other issues did you experienced while on TRT? Expect E2 and thyroids issues?

I am asking these questions becouse I am suffering from mild hypothyoridism and mild secondary hypogonadism and I am looking for way to fix that.

    Thank you.

Mine has ranged a bit. Not sure if simply due to age or possibly thyroiditis, etc.

Everything works together to maintain balance. Yes, there's a relationship between thyroid and T levels.

    Yes.

    None. Not possible.

    4. What other issues did you experienced while on TRT? Expect E2 and thyroids issues?

Prepare to monitor and possibly manage E2. No reason to expect thyroid issue.

Dig into your thyroid with a full panel. Include everything. Begin reading stopthethyroidmadness.com.

    Thank you.
    Bold above.
