    Donating Blood before 8 weeks

If your RBCs are really high, how soon after a whole blood donation is considered "safe" to do another?

The day before my last donation, I had labs done:
    Hemoglobin 19.1 HIGH (12.6-17.7)
    Hematocrit 55.8 HIGH (37.5-51.0)

Even after the donation, my Hematocrit is probably around 53% now. I'm thinking I should have done a double red cell donation.

Just wondering if I should get a therapeutic phlebotomy prescription, or donate blood again at a different center. How soon is it safe to do this?

In my country, and I think in most europe, you can only donate every 3 months.

But to answer your question, you can donate as many times as you need as long as your iron/ferritin are in in healthy values.

With hematocrit and low ferritin like you have I would stop TRT for a while till values got in better shape.

Isn't it mainly the red blood cell count replenishing why you have to wait?
