I have been learning a lot from this forum and I will be starting my life long TRT in about a week. I will be injecting 250 mg/wk indefinitely. My question is while on TRT could a guy doulel the weekly injections and do a small cycle for ten weeks or so and then return to the normal 250 mg/wk without any issues or PCT?

250 could be a high dose for indefinate(trt)....a lot ppl in your shoes will do "blasts" just as you speak of but an example would be more like:

125-175 trt dose

then once or twice a year run 400-500..

dont see too many 200 plus a week every weekers

I guess PCT is not exactly what I meant...I was wondering if once I came off a short "blast" would there be a need for any type of PCT even though I continue TRT at a lower dosage.

One HRT clinic prescribed me at 300mg/wk. I am currently at 200mg/month. If 200 mg/wk seems more reasonable I will begin with that. I feel like a bouncing ball with all the opinions I receive. Thank you for the advice.

Nope. Just continue on with your TRT dose.

yw...yes like d7m said nothing more than backing down to your trt dose...and i think 200 is wiser for longevity...

me personally, i cycle mine anywhere from 120-300 but average 150/175...never really found a "sweet spot" but all works well

How do you decide where to cycle it at? do you just go by how you are feeling or bloodwork

My endo scripted me at 100mg/week and then the AA clinic started me at 300mg/week. I think 200/week is a pretty good permanent level, and it allows me to have some "wiggle room" when I want it.

would lean more towards when you want...would of course be best to FIND your best trt dose when starting so u can return there when done with the blast

Sorry to interrupt your post, (I know some one say open your *^#), run test at cyp 100-300/week indefinitely? (I'm new to the forum I'm learning), its possible? what about the "soldiers"? are HCG use in this case? or the low dose has no effect?? Thanks.

'soldiers' I am guess you mean your balls...from what I have found then answer is 'yes your nuts will stop producing and begin to shrink'. HCG is used to keep them up and running. For me its easy...had a vasectomy years ago...let them shrink...
