Anastrozole sides!

my last blood work showed my e2 at 18 while taking 1/2 mg anastrozole ed, i was also on 200 mgs test cyp ew. the clinic suggested to skip AI on Tuesday and Thursday to raise e2 up to about 28-30. but a week after that the clinic suggested to reduce my test intake down to 160 mgs ew, so i did. now here is my question, since I've made these changes my lower to mid back muscles are aching constantly, could this be a side from e2 not where it needs to be, maybe still too low?

I get low back pain from low E2. Lots of my muscles ache when my E2 gets low. But my lower back and hips (glutes), really ache. If you are lowering your T you definately will have to lower the AI even more.

For me, 0.5 mg 4 days a week would put me in really bad shape. I was doing 0.25 mg two days a week (100 mg /week of Test Cyp) and that was a little too much for me. Also, keep in mind the stuff doesn't vanish right away. If you want to lower your dose even more maybe skip a few days then start the lower does, just to get your blood levels to drop faster.

I know I had low back and high glute muscle aches, I can't prove my e levels but I was on way too much anastrozol, cut back to .25 every other day and so far so good, I'd try the lower AI before I would lower T dosage, just my opinion, I'd try .25 EOD with the 160mg test and then skip another day or 2 in the week if you still need to. Nothing worse than a damn back ache.

I was just thinking about something that GNBM posted in another thread about HCG causing the Testicles to produce estrogen, that estrogen wouldn't be effected by an AI which would raise your estrogen levels... a little bit ....worth checking out anyway

hey man,dont want to mess with your protocol,but if your current isnt working,try some aromasin ,my e2 levels were sky high at 126.5 and i started 25mg ed of aromasin for 2 weeks and my e2 levels dropped to 12,to low,but i slacked off on the aromasin to 12.5mg ed,and hopefully they will start to increase to normal levels,also my trt dose is 300mg/week which is also high,and 90% of my test was being converted to estrogen,aromasin is very strong and no side effects,even though my e2 levels are low now,i feel like im 20 years ol again,just a thought brother....good luck,hope you start to feeling better

Good info Bullseye! i will talk to the clinic and ask about aromasin ! but for now i will do 3 days a week AI and see what happen, my injection of test is tomorrow (every Sunday) and will skip AI today, tomorrow and Monday, them take it on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday of every week at 1/2 mg and see what happens! thanks bro!

arimidex half life is 72 hours and most guys take it only every 2-3 days,cause it dosent take long to get into your system,where aromasin has only a 24 half life and hast to be taken ed,but imo its worth it and also the aromasin doesnt give you a rebound effect on estrogen like arimdex will
