    Prescriptions

If you are prescribed a medicine, from a doctor, can you legally buy said prescription anywhere? If so, what is all required to do so?

If you don't have an actual prescription in hand, but are being prescribed the medicine (and have been for a while), can you still buy said prescription elsewhere? I'm guessing you need to have an actual WRITTEN prescription in hand, but just wanted to check all the legalities.

Most places will require a written prescription and many confirm with the doctor as well

That makes perfect sense. So with anti-aging clinics, they write and fill the prescription, so they are in complete control. I figured so much, just wanted to be sure.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

if it is from a normal dr or endo you can bring it to any pharm. and if you go to a different pharmacy they can call the original pharm you brought it to an transfer it.

Yes, my endo doesn't like giving me a paper scrip. He prefers to have his nurse call or email/fax them into the pharm. Not sure why...maybe because we are getting a Schedule III drug?

Yep, No Refills on scheduled drugs Class II and III. It's absolutely ridiculous that Test is a scheduled drug, but I'm not going to get started on that.

I have never had a prescription in my hand either. Doc (I do go to a clinic) calls it into the pharmacy of my choice.

My Test Cyp and hCG prescriptions are written for one refill. There is an expiration date on when I can get the refill, which is 6 months just like jp said.

Must just be Class II drugs then, which makes sense. I know I've probably asked you before jpk, but you go to a primary care doc and don't have insurance, correct?
