High Progesterone Levels. Any Ideas?

Hey fellas. Hope everyone is well. On the advice of a few good guys around here I got a saliva test done to measure my DHT and Progesterone. The lab could not process the DHT due to a reagent problem, but I just got the results of the progesterone.

71 pg/mL and reference is 12.7 - 65.1. I have read that high progesterone can cause libido, prostate, and erection problems. I have also read that high progesterone causes high E2. My E2 checked out at 18.

How high is my progesterone and is there any way of controlling it?

What is your TRT protocol?

Are you supplementing with Pregnenolone by any chance?

It may also be indicated that you need higher levels of Cortisol so in order for your body to get more Cortisol it may be raising your Progesterone levels as well since it is the primary building block.

Also, check your Adrenals, that would be my next suspicion.

Hey G, hope all is well. Taking Test Cyp twice a week, L-Dex on shot day, and HCG MWF. Yes, as a matter of fact, I AM supplementing with Pregnenolone @ 50mg in the morning and 50mg in the evening.

Could the Pregnenolone be causing the high Progesterone?

100 mg is a bit much, cut it in half and take in the am.
