d-aspartic acid and increasing test
So there's some pretty good study on this supplement called d-aspartic acid. Apparently there was a clinical trial in men and it showed to increase LH and testosterone . Any of you guys every messed with this? Maybe if someone doesn't have HCG provided by their doctor they can at least use this? Any thoughts? Ideas?

Interesting study.
Gave pretty amazing results in the short 12 days of the study.
By itīs acting on the Pituitary to increase LH, it could be a nice supplement for PCT.

Interesting. It's a little over 2 years old so maybe something new has been published as well.

I've tried. It didn't do anything noticeable for me personally. I was off it for 2 days (it supposedly stays in the system for 3 days after not taking it) before my first total serum bw was done and it came back low. Just got some new results while being off of it for 2 months and its only a touch lower.
It did give me 2 skin rashes on my cheeks which have not gone away.

Looked up d-aspartic acid at the site from which I usually order supplements. Sure enough, they sell it. Sort of expensive at about $1 per day in pure form. They sell a number of other supplements which contain some d-aspartic acid, but who knows how much of the pure is in each.

DAA seems to only work when your T is mid level to low. It works by boosting LH, so if your leydig cells don't respond to LH then it won't do you any good anyway.
I tried it for a while. I quit because of the brain fog. DAA, like aspartamine, can cross the blood-brain barrier and convert into gluatmate which is a known problem for the brain.
If you are paying more than $0.60 for a 3 gram dose, you are paying too much.Last edited by GotNoBlueMilk; 01-13-2012 at 05:16 PM.
