Question Does Dr Crisler use oxandrolone?

I was suprised at how many people use oxandrolone in there T therapy regimens. However, I understand that some people use some less than reputable "clinics". So I was just curious, does Dr Crisler, who most consider on the cutting edge of HRT, implement oxandrolone at all?

I couldn't really find anything in the medical literature to support it's use with T therapy. It's mostly used in cases of severe burn or HIV-associated wasting.

I have one of his papers from 2009, where he basically says there's no place for compounds like deca or winstrol in TRT regiments. It doesn't mention Anavar , but I would be surprised if that's on his prescription list.

I feel he missed the boat excluding deca , but we all know he shy's away from controversial protocols. He has a rep to maintain in the end.

...and a thriving ridiculously profitable practice to protect!

I saw that as well. It is posted on his web site and it's pretty useful for a HRT primer.

Because Dr Crisler is a legitimate doctor and his goals are physiologic levels, I believe he would be firmly against this. I don't know him well at all, but I have read and believe 100% that his goals are health and well being and definitely not purely physique.

Agree...deca seems to be that fine line in the sand between docs/clinics. If you prescribe it, you probably want to stay somewhat private with a "clinic" in front of you, vs. creating a website and message board. I guess its good to have the mix, especially if you want deca AND want to read great info on a doctors website.

You wouldnt want to be on deca or var for hrt. They both lack androgenic properties and will kill your sex drive, even when administered alongside an equal or greater aount of test jmo

My clinic does not sell oxandrolone. Its much safer than most steroids , including winstrol , which was fda approved. Anavar is a good repla***ent for winstrol. Some clinics believe in overall well being for health, there are legitimate reasons for people to add muscle, for whatever reason cant be achieved through regular means. Just because a local doctor wont prescribe it, doesn't mean someone isnt a candidate for the drug, athletes ect. A lot of athletes dont use anabolics for getting stronger but rehabing an injury quicker in the off season when time is money.

I am fortunate enough where deca never killed my sex drive alongside test, I always felt an increase. Others have experienced the opposite though...

Thanks for chiming in. Are you aware of any published research regarding oxandrolone and HRT?

I was intrigued by it because I read a number of people on forums taking it as part of their therapy, and because I often wake up with muscle aches. I haven't been on T therapy very long though so I am hopeful it will subside. I feel like those muscle aches should be reserved for my golden years... not my late 20's!

    Nope, only read drug profiles.

I've never woken up in pain unless im healing from a recent injury, and im in my 30's. Not normal at your age correct...specifically muscle aches with out an injury probably aren't normal at most ages, are you having muscle aches through the day? It may be something you should check out with your PC. I don't think hrt, or oxandrolone, will be a cure all for waking up with muscle aches. Could be a manifestation of something else.

It was just minor muscle aches in the morning. It sort of just made me feel like an "old man"... not that I have anything to compare that to but I just felt like that was the best way I could describe it to myself. Never lasted through the day.
