Yes again, but most here (HRT Forum) won't have that particular need and those on the AAS side honestly don't even look at it in that light, yet they really should do so. I've encouraged it before on the "dark side."

This thread is the best laugh I have had all week. I also have ED issues, at age 50, come and go, I can finish some times, and sometimes I can't, as I get too over worked and then it acts like I finished and poof...gone. I been using Liquid Caber but have learned from here that It's junk in liquid and from the place I get it , not very good reviews for the most part...I posted source in the source forum.

My Doc won't prescribe Caber, and I have not tried I Primi yet from Ar-R . I uuse Cialis but not every day, although after reading the Cialis thread, I think I'm gonna do the 5mg ED.

Could be my T and Free T is too high and E2 too high. I can't seem to find the happy zone with my supps.

Last T result was 1152 top range of 1100, and Free T was 334 with a top range of 155
and E2 was 36, SHGB was 19. Not sure if I have "mental" or Hormonal issues.

I'm certainly far from an expert on this but it looks like your E2 is off the charts - if that's the sensitive assay. What are the ranges for you SHBG and E2?

I know the day I'm due for my ai, my libido and my "sensitivity" is rather low. That's one indicator that I'm due for my dose. Might want to check that out.

I have the same issues, just started injections about 6 weeks ago after a long bout with the gels, for now Cialis is a way of life, but hoping to get more staple and come off the cialis @ somepoint, although I am also on blood pressure meds which cause some serious erection and libido challenges even though the drug companies say they don't.

How long were you on the gel? And why did you decide to go with injections?

Was on androgel from the start never got much over 400, which my urologist thought was great, stopped for four months cold turkey, recovered up to 300 natural, went to a endo put me on axiron felt good for a while, but levels started to drop after about a year on it, so have started the 100mg per week injections, and have felt great from day one, with a occasional downward swing, but much more staple feeling than when on the gels I felt like I was on a daily rollercoaster ride with way too many lows.

Crap, wonder if that is why I "feel" more horny some days and not so much others....??

My E2 range is < or = to 39 pg/mL , so 36 is way at the top end of the range.

The SHGB range is 10-50 nmo1/L I am at 19

I was taking .5 mg adex 2x ew , but since this bw in March , i bumped it to 1mg 2x ew

    What was your gel dose?

I've been on it for most of the year I've been on TRT. I had been feeling it wasn't doing much for me either - TT in the 400 range and so-so libido. So I upped the dose to 3 pumps and BANG! Things changed. I've done 4 pumps ED too and my libido get pretty strong on that. I take this with 250iu hCG EOD or ED and .25mg adex every 3-4 days.

I'm considering shots because it is way cheaper than the gels which run me about $175 a month at present. I'm in the "doughnut hole". Shots would run me a bout $15/month. No typo. And I'm curious about how I'd feel on shots too.

Was on 10mg of Agel/testim and 4 pumps of axiron, really didn't want to go beyond that. Just got a vial of test cyp for $40, which should last me almost 20 weeks so $10 a month not bad. The gels at some point will stop working for you. Good luck it is a journey.

Sensitive assay as opposed to what? The report says "for and patients for whom low Estradiol levels are anticipated...blah blah blah , then the "Ultrasensitive" assay is recommended...

The sensitive/ultrasentive is for men. Any other E2 test is for women. Men must get the sensitive/ultrasensitive. So when you get the results, you'll know the range and whether or not you are within acceptable limits.

Ok , so then by what the report stated, I presume I had the "sensitive" assay? So then I am still in the high range of E2.

Yes, if you are sure it was the sensitive, it looks like you are on the high end.

IDK, I think the whole ED issue is more complex than anyone realizes. Personally, I think it encompasses a full mind & body connection. Being dialed-in to your TRT protocol is always essential, but I feel the mental part of it can be just as important. 3 years in and things honestly only continue to get better. However, it has a lot to do with life in general I believe. Manageable stress levels, a good & healthy relationship with my fiancé, proper physical fitness & nutrition, a favorable work & financial standing. I think it all plays a significant role to some degree. Just something to think about…

I understand EOD at that amount but not ED. Why ED?

OK, so I am not the only one in this boat. I am like xcraider37. Switched from testim/axiron to shots. My level dropped with Axiron and now I haven't gotten it back with injectable 100mg a week test e (50mg x2). I thought I would give it a while, that maybe the test levels needed to stabilize with shots. I am now going on month three and I still have ED. Last time this happened was when my levels dropped below 600 on testim. I know my E2 is good at 24. When I took my first shot at 200mg, it was like I started trt from the beginning and by day two I was 19 years old again. Since I am now on a lower dose, nothing. :/

Good question. Thought it would be better at my stage of life - 65. I'm open to expert opinions on this, absolutely.

Question - won't lowering your blood pressure too much affect your erection strength? Can that not be done by using tadalifil or sildenafil in conjunction with some type of NO producing chemical such as arginine or citrulline? Just curious as I am doing the 5mg a day of tadalifil (forzest 10mg) and taking sups for weight lifting.

Well, I'd think that EOD is fine as that equates to 875 per week. Some top docs are suggesting ED at lower doses of around 100-125 and seem to have success with it. Won't hurt to play around a little and see how you feel. As easy as sq injections are I still don't want to go ED.

Dude, that American Pie cracked me up! I'm thinking of the liquid CIA route once I start my trt again. V works good though but I don't know about that everyday.

Kel, Food for thought. I feel EOD is the right thing to do, as well. Curious; why would you feel uncomfortable with ED? What would be the danger, if any?
