High E2 after 3 years on TRT

Hey guys,
I've been pretty stable for awhile with my treatment, but I've noticed a bit over a month ago that my morning wood was gone and I was concerned so I independently tested for sensitive E2. I also added on free and total test for my lab work. (Background: my protocol has been test cyp .35 on a 1ml syringe twice per week. I also take 500iu of hcg twice per week. I had no need for an AI for the better part of my treatment)

I got my labs back and the E2 was high. It was 58 (8.0-35).
My total test was 1329 (348-1197)
Free test 38.2 (6.8-21.5)

Test seems slightly high but I was concerned with the E2 due to libido and erections.
I started immediately on .25mg of anastrozole on the days following my test injections. It has been about 6 weeks. I am going to retest soon.

I don't notice any positive change. No real morning erections and now I also notice that I lose my erections easily during sex. Is it possible that I could crashed my E2 already on this small amount of anastrozole in 6 weeks? I'm at a loss as my free AND total test are high. I would think it's my E2, but now I'm not sure. I've been on the same test dose for the duration of my 3 years. Any ideas?

I'd lower HCG to 250 2x, the excess E2 can be from the testes.

You can also try some proviron to see if it's of help.

Was the blood taken in the morning the day you inject? When do you inject HCG ?

About the sex. Have the ED events happen with the same partner? Is she your regular partner in the last 6 months?

Agree with Biz on too much HCG.

Agree with both guys above. Also know that no matter how long you've been stable our bodies change and titrations need to be made. I did not need an AI for years but I do now. It's one of the reasons we need to be consistent with BW and with the timing of said BW.
