A1) YES (I would wait 5 hours just to be safe)
A2) I think it's best to take your full daily Insulin dosage right after workout. If your not using AAS, Insulin in the AM on OFF days is very beneficial to stave catabolism.
I think 4-4.5 would be fine. Remember that fats are not broken down and available for use in the body as quickly as simple carbohydrates so even after 5 hours the amount of fats in circulation will be fairly low.
