Is a unit of slin equal to a i.u.?

This is with a insulin syringe...bd ultra-fine insulin syringes to be exact, 1/2cc, but along the side, it is measured in units... up to 50 units.

100iu dart goes in increments of 2 up to 10-20-30-40-50 and so on to 100.
so each tick is 1 iu for measuring slin.. follow me here?
If you're measuring ifg-1r3 then each tick is 20mcg
1ml of igf =1000mcg or 1gm
