R is the shortest acting. Around 4 hours I believe. I would still wait 6 to be safe! But thats just me, "Better safe than sorry"!

I´m using Humulin R and it peaks in 1-3 hours is active for about 8h(sais the Info) but after the peak which occurs faster to me at 30m to a good 1hour it doesn´t do very much anymore nothing dangerous as well.

That's totally wrong, Humalin R is in your system for about 6 - 8hrs, where-as Humalog is in your system for only 4. So Humalog is shortest acting. Depending on what kind of Insulin you are using, depends on when its ok to go to sleep. But as soon as Insulin isn't in your system anymore, its safe to go to bed. If you want to be on the "safer" side of things, you can wait 1 more hour after Insulin active period has expried and then go to bed.

Hey bro, haven't seen you on here for a while. Anyway, Humalog is inactive at around the 4th hr after injection.
