Actrapid Insulin?

Hey guys I got some Actrapid Insulin coz I couldnt get my hands on any Humalog. Anyway, I am aware that Actrapid lasts in your body for 8hrs. Now I have 2 questions...

1) When does Actrapid peek at? 4th hour I assume?
2) Can I use the same type of needle I used with Humalog for Actrapid?

hi bro. i`m using the same stuff coz i could`t get humalog same as u.
i use it pwo. actrpid onset:30min peak:1-3hr but be ware at least 6hr.
i inj 8iu pwo 30min before finish my workout.
i`ve my dex (6-10g per iu diferent person-person). Mine is 6g/iu.. 6x8=48g dex, 5g cret,5g clut.
1/2hr later... i`ve 40g whey,
1hr later... (1.5hr from 1st dex) i`ve un other dex 15g+20gwhey.
1hr later... i`ve my lunch chicken breast 150g veggies, b.rice1/4 cup
total... 2.5 hr after the shot... i think its safe
i`m doing this for 2 weeks and i never notice a hypo.

Ahh ok kool, thanx for that. So the actual peek of Actrapid is 1 - 3hrs. But is active for 8hrs.

cyflex: y do u inject 8iu pwo "30 min before you finish your workout"? I thought Insulin is best taken right after the workout?

Also Einsteain, we have talked about consuming simple carbs while Insulin is active, would I do this for the whole 8hrs?

I was thinking of something like:
Inj right after training, then immidietly have your dex/creatine/glutamine
15min later have your whey
1.5hrs later have a solid dinner (baked potatoes/eggwhites)
2hrs later have another solid dinner
After the 2hr dinner, I think by now Insulin wouldnt be peeking anymore so I should be safe. Althought I would still consume no fats for the next 4hrs, and still consume simple carbs as Insulin is still active till then. Sound good? I am just not too sure how to set out my diet when using Insulin thats active for 8hrs. I am used to Humalog which lasts for 4hrs.

thats right bro humalog is much better but if u can`t have it...
i inj slin 30` before finish my w/o cos actrapid onset:30` so when i`m finish, slin is allready kicks in. IMO u have to take dex when the slin allready kincks in, so the duration of BG (dex)in u, it takes much longer(i think is about 60-75min).
but bro if u have humalog use it is much better than actrapid

Yeah thanx for the info bro, I appriciate it. I am trying my hardest to get my hands on Humalog, if not I will have to go with the Actrapid. But thanx again, and I will let you know how I go. Whats your experience with Actrapid? Would you mind showing me your daily diet when using Actrapid?
