    slin....pwo meal...

    how bad would tomatoes, or a salad be in my post slin shot meal???

    i know a tomatoe is a fruit so it has to have some sugar in it, but wasnt sure if it would be significant enough to affect me????

    A midium tomatoes has 8gr carbs in it. a low glycemic but simple carbs(fructose).
    U have to have carbs in ppwo anyway. so a small salad with ur
    lean pro&compl.carbs(chicken/brown rice) it`s fine (IMO).
    u just add more fiber in ppwo so what..
    Personally i have some broccoli in my ppwo

    but would the extra simple carbs no cause another insulin spike????...but then again its not a significant amount....
