So I accidentally used maltodextrin instead of Dextrose...

After my workout I shot 10ius of slin into my tricep and then ingested 70grams of protein mixed with what I thought was 75 grams of dextrose, but in reality I used malto dextrine insted. I am just starting slin so I'm still taking bg measurements to get everything dialed in. Well, here are the bg results:

10ius+75g dextrose:
Right before shot: 80
5 minutes: 71
15: 113
25: 88
35: 75
45: 68
55: 64
(2nd meal, 25g dex+chicken breast)
65: 65
75: 66
85: 80
95: 85
105: 85
115: 82



10ius+75g Maltodextrin:
Right before shot: 79
5 minutes: 87
15: 84

(2nd meal, 25g dex+chicken breast)(I pushed it a little later than the previous time with the dex because my bg was still acceptable)

So, as expected with the maltodextrin there was much less of a spike in bg and it lasted much longer. I think I could have even gone without the second meal.

Nice reporting of blood sugar levels. It gives everyone an idea of the BS trajectory over a two hour period following slin injection.
I wonder how different the result might be if you change either the slin dose or volume of sugars?
