I just read yesterday that you don't need a prescription for insulin . The reason for that is because forms and insurance mix-ups could cost someone their life. They want people who realy need the stuff to be a ble to get it when they are out and about or traveling. I would just be ready when you go. What I mean is your gonna want to look like you know what your talking about when you ask for the stuff. There are several choices when your there. Hope I helped.

You can get Humalin-R here but not Humalong. If you read post from here, it states the same. I'm looking for Humalog bc I much rather use it. Good luck.

Walk right into the Pharmacy and tell them you need to pick some up, only a total douche will ask for a script on it. They figure want kind of jackass would want to use insulin if they werent diabetic

I am also from Florida. Funny, but I just inquired about that same thing. The answer is that you do not need a script for Humalog in the state of Florida as well as you don't need a script in Broward County for insulin needles.
