If you couldnt get dextrose for your post injection (slin) what would you use? I cannot find it anywhere and no body in this country has a clue what I am talking about when I mention dextrose.

I would order some but mailing is very unreliable when it is international shipping.

Dextrose powder. But it probably is not as easy to find as you think. Do you have any good ideas on where to look. There is only one grocery store and they have no clue about it. I checked several pharmacies and they only have injection which I do not really want to use.

Just go to a health shop, or maybe a GNC store and ask them if they have dextrose. If they don't know what dextrose is, then ask for glucose powder. Its the same thing. Dextrose and glucose are interchangable terms. It is very easy to find. Good luck.

I really appreciate the help but it is not that simple. I live in a 3rd world country that has been in a civil war for twenty years. I only wish that this country was as modern as mexico. There is one grocery store here in my town and they have never heard of it. Most my food has to come from the open air market you couldnt even get refriderated milk here until about two years ago. THere is not gnc or anything like that(I know they have it i use to manage one). I have order products from the internet three times and never received the packages because the address are messed up from all the people building homes without permits.

I can't remember right off hand what sugars are best if dextrose is absolutely not available. I know sucrose is a disaccharide, consisting of 1 glucose (dextrose) molecule and 1 fructose molecule. Obviously, the fructose component is less than ideal, but certainly he would have access to regular table sugar.

no matter where you live there is a beer making supply store in every country around the world and you should be able to get either dextrose or maltp-dextrin from there.

Just check the label and eat whatever corresponds to 80-100 grams. I ran out of dex about 2 weeks ago, and then ordered some only to find out later they had no fedex service till 1 week later. So I've been using sweet tarts in the meantime. Good luck.
