does GH slow down or speed up thyroid?

i have a slow thyroid (hypo) and i take armour thyroid to help speed it up. i've also taken synthroid but the HRT doc put me on the armour instead. i just want to know how the GH will effect my thyroid.

I read that you shouldn't run T3 for more than 4 - 7 weeks or something similar. What about the fact that a proper GH cycle will go on for almost 6 times this length in time. T3 can have permanent sides on the endocrine system can't it?

I know a number of PPL who run low dose t-3 the whole time they run GH to compinsate for the fact that GH lowers your natural T-3 usually 12.5-25 mcg's a day...But under normal circumstances no more than 6 weeks...

Intresting because my endo right now doesn't want to give me GH just yet until the thyroid is taking care of. Dale what doc prescribed you Armour thyroid. Not to many do that, most give you synth. I have a doc that prescibed me Armour and that stuff made me feeel a whole lot better than the synthroid .

he told me to take (2) 60mg pills every morning on an empty stomach. i was taking synthriod (1) .75mg the same way except i was downing a protein shake and vitamins with it. HRT doc said taking iron(multi-vitamin) was defeating the synthroid and that's why my levels came back screwed up. now i wait an hour before i eat anything. i don't really notice anything different in the way i feel but i can't wait to have my TSH levels tested again. doc said armour is WAY more powerful than synthroid and is old school to treat slow thryroids.

what are the symptoms of taking too much syntrhoid medication (armour)???? he wanted me to get to the fast end of the normal range but i don't want to F myself up making it too fast.

studie on t3/gh there are a lot of studies showing that T3 damages the effect of gh, and if you take T3 with gh you should only take a small dose 12-25mcg.

Lucky Bastard I have to suck down T-3 by the gallon...If theres one problem I could live with it would be hyperthyriodism...

I would add 25mcgs a day of t3 when taking GH, if you want to do clen as well that's fine, but not if your not going to take t3 as well.

It's a good idea to take t3 while on gh cause like the other said, gh does hinder your thyroid production...

True but in excess it will lessen your natural GH release. Especially critical to the younger bro's I'd keep it at 12.5mg personally.
