slin: How long will it last?

Hi,

If I get insulin humalog 100/ml vial (10 ml ) and use it for 4 weeks at 10 IU's a day, how long will it last?

well lets see here, this is simple math bro...i'll do it out for you.

There's 1,000 units in that bottle, (u-100 insulin, 10ml)
So in 4 weeks you will use
7x4=28 total days used consecutively
28 x 10iu per day=280iu of slin used

1000 / 280= 3.5 total 4 week cycles of insulin (rounded)

meaning roughly 14 weeks!
