Injected Air into bicep

I must be an idiot. I didn't put my glasses (reading glasses, I'm 45) on last night to draw my lr3. I drew 30 i.u. of BW, then thought I drew 40mcg of lr3. I was paying so much attention to the tick marks I didn't look at the liquid. I had actually pushed the slin needle through the lr3 and drew air. I then stuck my bicep and as I was pushing realized it was 40mcg of air. Thank god I'm not an I.V. drug user (lol). Probably not enough to do anything even if I was. This is a good lesson men....check for bubbles and aspirate , aspirate, aspirate.

I wouldnt think is a big deal becaue your injecting into a mucle not into your vein, i read a study somewhere on here stating that you need to inject somewhere around 40cc's of air directly into your vein for it to be fatal...But ive also read that seeing that your body is a air tight vacum 1 cc of air given the right circumstances if passed through your brain will cause you to hemmorage and die can anyone clear this info up....
