Slin beginner dose?...
I've done my research and the common starting slin dose for a beginner seems to be 4 iu's PWO, eventually moving up to 10 iu's. How often should I increase....1 iu/wk or 1iu/day? Or something different. Also what is the normal range for BG?--I know I'm being lazy on this question :wg: .

Everyone is different. Find out what works for you. Start at 4 units then move up one or two units each time. I have found that for me that magic number is 10 units. If I do 10 or more I dont like the feeling I get. I take in the carbs but it still seems to sneak up on me a couple of hours later and I feel paranoid. Anything below 10 units it doesnt seem to bother me a bit. Dont take a big jump and find that its more then your body can take. You may pay the price for it. Good luck and be safe.

start at 4iu and work your way up by 1iu every workout.
make sure to take in enough dex/whey.
keep dextrose tabs on hand in case of hypo.

When it comes to BG levels, everybody is different. However, you will find that most feel comfy when within 75mgdl - 110mgdl range. Any less than 75 you might be going a bit low, any higher than 110 maybe a bit too much. But like I said, everybody is different. My readings were 60 a while ago and I felt fine. Where do you guys get your dextrose tabs from?

I don't bother with dex tabs. I just have a coca cola on me incase of hypo. Dex tabs are usually only about 3 - 5g p/tab. But you can get them at health shops, GNC perhaps grocery stores or chemists.

i don't drink soft drinks so thats why i carry dextabs,and they taste delicious(red fruits) so sometimes i'm actually looking forward to get hypo symptoms j/k :-)

rodge, dont mean to hijack the thread i may start slin soon 4iu pwo,
but my question is do i take it ed or just pwo and the days im not training i dont take slin at all?
