GH acromegaly

This is a question by swale on meso rx he is HRT doc and i thought it would get more views and replies here.

I have been contacted by a gentleman who was precribed innappropriate dosages of GH--without proper monitoring and follow-up. Now he is suffering acromegaly--4 inches of girth increase already.

What troubles me is that he complains of bloating throughout the day, which increases with each meal. He says that by bedtime, he is not comfortable breathing. I would not expect this from run-of-the-mill organomegaly.

I am also wondering how much the organs recede in size--if at all--following cessation of the GH (which he has done).

What has anyone experienced or heard?
