    negative feedback inhibition and IGF-1

I know that the bodies negative feedback mechanism for the secretion of GH from the pituitary is inhibited by the use of exogenous GH or IGF-1, my question is does anybody have any sound knowledge on how long it takes for the bodies natural levels to return to normal. I know that after a long anabolic /androgenic cycle it can take fairly long to return to normal, so can one assume the same with the use of GH and IGF-1?

I thought that the four weeks off was to keep the side effects to a minimum not for the recovery of the endogenous supply of GH. Plus if the four weeks off is the time that it takes for the pituitary to get back to normal secretions of GH, then is there some way of lessening the recovery period, four weeks of limited natural GH in the blood is clearly very depressing. I wish there was an endocrinologist on this board.

IGF levels? I am under the impression it is between 4 - 8 weeks, and yes that is why they have the 4 week ON/OFF theory, not because of side effects. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

after hgh use the body starts making endo gh within a day or 3 i believe but the resistance to it is another issue, thats why its best to cycle it 9 months out of a year imo.

with lr3 igf-1 its been cycled 4-7 weeks on with about the same time off because igf-1 makes new muscle cels(hyperplasia) but you need hgh to recruit satelite cels and there for it looses it effects after 4-7 weeks.you prob could cycle it longer if your using hgh at the same time.

I didīnt think there was a negative feedback to Hgh and IGF-1, thought you just got emune to it. Think I read some where that receptors (to any hormone) Was re-newed In 2weeks.

Is there anybody else out there that has any good info on this? I've heard of a new GH precurser called GHRH (I think) that is like HCG for the pituitary and its release of HGH, anbody used this yet, I've heard that it is very new and not prescribed as of yet. If this works it would be a great tool for HGH recovery.
