igf-1 lr3 half life and working out late?

I think the half life of igf-1 lr3 is 10 hours, but i have to workout late (after work) if i want to shoot igf-1 PWO. Is it bad to take it at say 8-10 pm and then go to sleep a few hours later? For some reason i thought that was bad for when u go to sleep plus i wont be able to get any protein in while im sleeping (waking up for a protein shake is not an option)

I've done it like that before and woke up about 3 hours later hungry, so you might want to have something ready to eat
