Insulin -- Can I donate blood while on it???

I just started slin, very low at 3iu, will bump it up 1iu till I get to 10iu. I shoot my slin in the am around 8 or so because I work out early. Can I donate blood in the afternoon around 2-3pm? Would the slin mess it up at all? I am taking humalog.

should'nt be a problem.humalog is short acting and thus leaves the system very quick and thereby all slin does is lowering bloodsugar.

I don't see a problem either, I wouldn't do it witin 5 hours of injecting (humalog)
