IAAF International Track and Field Federation and IOC have new test for Growth Hormon

PLEASE...PLEASE tell me how are these people detecting GH? What is it that they are finding? I'm a track athlete and need to know what's up? I mean if I use natural alternatives that jack up my GH and insulin levels can they pop me for that also?

You need to ask them, unless someone here is familiar with what they do

It is a blood test. I don't know exactly how it works, but yes, there is a test for GH. As for the natural alternatives, I wouldn't know... But I wouldn't risk it.

Hey do you know of anyone, track or another sport still using GH that has passed a test, how did they do it. I mean, there must have been a shit load of people in Greece using this stuff and no one got popped. The other thing i've heard from a VERY good source from the IOC is this (this is not rumour) "the Olympic Committe is waiting to pop someone with no money" inother words, they don't want to go after some of the more financially apt track and field people, they want someone with no bling , so that there is no counter sue situation" hmmmm the corruption still lingers........your thoughts

Just stop taking gh if you are so worried about it. I pretty sure they test for gh not your gh levels. And you use natural and get caught tell them you want a retest and in a day or 2 or levels will back to normal. Why don't you look into igf-1.

I would say they test for elevated levels of IGF-1.

But once you stop igf-1 your levels very quickly almost go back to normal.

It seems almost impossible like testosterone to spot GH in a test, only levels. GH is a protein that is created from e-coli, not a chemical that leaves a footprint. Maybe the look for the e-coli expression? Huh, interesting.
