    How long can you keep slin??

    I Started some Humilin about 3-4 months ago and stopped. Its been refrigerated...still good??

    Insulin is good until the expiry date if it is in the fridge and CLOSED. Once you start using it, insulin is good for about 30 Days if kept in the fridge.

    Many people do use it beyond the 30 days but keep in mind it is slowly losing potency. Biologics are not very stable and will degrade much faster than pills so you may not be getting the dose you think your getting if you keep open bottles of insulin for too long.
